How Diamond Pulse handles data

Last updated: June 4, 2026. This policy is written for the current public web app and the planned account/subscription path.

Overview

Diamond Pulse is an independent MLB The Show Diamond Dynasty decision tool. The current app is mostly browser-based: you can search cards, use market and program tools, and manually enter squad or inventory information. Future account, subscription, cloud-save, and Sony-account-linking features will not go live until the related privacy and security handling is updated.

Information you provide

You may enter card names, manual prices, squad slots, inventory rows, program preferences, watchlist-style choices, and similar gameplay-planning information. When account features are enabled, you may also provide an email address, password or authentication method, profile settings, saved squads, saved inventory, saved searches, subscription status, and support messages.

Local browser storage

Some current tools save information in your browser using local storage. This can include squad selections, inventory imports, tool preferences, or other data you enter so the app remembers it on the same device. Local storage is controlled by your browser and can be cleared through your browser settings. Local browser data does not automatically travel across devices.

Usage and technical data

Like most websites, Diamond Pulse and its hosting providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, timestamps, error logs, and similar diagnostic information. This helps operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

Diamond Pulse may use essential cookies or browser storage for login, security, preferences, and saved tool state. If analytics, advertising, affiliate links, or similar tracking tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are used in a meaningful way. Diamond Pulse does not currently need third-party advertising tracking to operate the core app.

Accounts, subscriptions, and payments

Future account features may use a service such as Supabase for authentication and cloud data. Future payments may use a processor such as Stripe. Diamond Pulse should not store full payment card numbers on its own servers. Payment processors may collect and process billing information under their own policies and security controls.

Sony, PlayStation, and account linking

Diamond Pulse does not currently connect to your Sony, PlayStation, MLB The Show, or console account. If account linking is offered later, it should use a permitted, secure flow and a dedicated policy update explaining what is accessed, why it is accessed, how long it is kept, and how you can disconnect it.

How information is used

Diamond Pulse may use information to provide and improve the app, remember your tool settings, operate account and subscription features, personalize recommendations when user data is enabled, respond to support requests, protect against abuse, debug errors, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important service updates.

How information is shared

Diamond Pulse may share information with service providers that help run the app, such as hosting, authentication, database, payment, email, analytics, security, or support providers. Diamond Pulse may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer. Diamond Pulse does not sell user inventory, squad, or gameplay-planning data.

Retention

Local browser data remains on your device until you clear it or the app replaces it. Future account data should be kept for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, or keep reasonable backups. You may request deletion of account data once account support processes are live.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can clear local browser data through your browser. Once accounts are live, Diamond Pulse should provide a way to access, correct, export, or delete account data where required by law and technically feasible. If you are a New Jersey resident or live in another state with consumer privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal data depending on whether the law applies to Diamond Pulse at that time.

New Jersey note

Diamond Pulse is operated from New Jersey. New Jersey has a consumer privacy law that may apply to businesses that process personal data at certain scale thresholds. Diamond Pulse should review those obligations as traffic, accounts, subscriptions, analytics, and personalization grow.

Children

Diamond Pulse is not directed to children under 13 and should not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact Diamond Pulse so the information can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

Security

No website or online service can guarantee perfect security. Diamond Pulse should use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for the stage of the product, especially before enabling accounts, payments, cloud saves, or account linking.

Third-party links and data sources

Diamond Pulse may link to third-party websites or use public data sources. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own privacy policies. Diamond Pulse is not responsible for their privacy practices.

Independent fan tool

Diamond Pulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment, San Diego Studio, PlayStation, Major League Baseball, MLBPA, or MLB Advanced Media.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as the app changes. Before paid accounts or account linking launch, this policy should be reviewed again. Privacy questions can be directed to privacy@diamondpulse.io.
